We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse III specializing in Ophthalmology to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an experienced RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians during ophthalmic procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. • Assist ophthalmologists in surgical and non-surgical procedures with precision and care.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for ophthalmic patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the ophthalmologist efficiently.
• Provide comprehensive education and instructions to patients regarding eye care and recovery.
• Lead and mentor junior nursing staff in ophthalmology best practices and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and clinical procedures.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure all ophthalmic tools are in good working order.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to optimize patient scheduling and procedure efficiency.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients conditions to the attending physician immediately.
• Implement infection control policies to uphold a safe and sterile environment.
• Participate in continuous professional development and education in ophthalmology nursing.
• Engage in patient advocacy, ensuring all patient needs and concerns are addressed promptly.

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with a specialization in Ophthalmology.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an ophthalmic nursing role.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to instruct and reassure patients.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring nursing staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
