Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough infection risk assessments across all clinical areas, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing targeted interventions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control protocols, ensuring alignment with national and international guidelines.
• Investigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), including outbreak management, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Provide expert consultation and education to healthcare professionals on infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Holds current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and is in good standing.
• Certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) or eligible to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
