Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site activities related to Mechanical Seals.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the EB office for seal repair coordination.
  • Perform Mechanical Seal troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) with support from Application Engineering.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports (weekly/monthly).
  • Engage with various customer departments and participate in technical meetings.
  • Support the immediate superior in ensuring efficient workshop operations and timely delivery.
  • Oversee smooth workshop operations in collaboration with service staff.
  • Assign tasks and work closely with service technicians.
  • Contribute actively to inventory management.
  • Utilize EB ERP systems such as SealCarePro and SAP ByD effectively.
  • Prepare Initial and Final Inspection Reports.
  • Measure competitor seal parts, prepare drawings, and share them with Application Engineering.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3-7 years technical experience working in the Mechanical Seal Industry with experience in service and on site activities.
  • Have a good knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps, Agitators, Mixers, Blowers.
  • A fair awareness of Centrifugal Compressors will be an added benefit.
  • Have a good knowledge of Wet Mechanical Seals, Supply Systems and API 682 Standards.
  • A fair knowledge of ANSI, Engineering Drawings, Limits & Fits Tolerances, etc.
  • Ability to independently install mechanical seals.
  • Ability to carry out mid-level trouble shooting at site.
  • Good command over spoken and written English. A knowledge of spoken Arabic will be an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Appropriate computer and IT systems skills/knowledge (MS Office, Document Management, etc.)
