Job Duties
Under direct supervision, performs diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, interpretation of drawings/schematics, use of precision measurements, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with down-hole equipment. Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience in mechanical equipment repair and maintenance. A technical school certificate or higher is preferred.
