Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Propose optimal ordering quantities to balance supplier costs, storage capacity, and working capital
- Monitor and control out-of-stock levels across distribution center assortments and take corrective actions
- Anticipate potential product expiries and implement mitigation actions to reduce waste
- Contribute to the development of the logistics strategic plan with senior management
- Provide inputs into demand forecasting and inventory planning processes
- Ensure effective implementation of replenishment procedures and system parameters
- Manage ordering and delivery standards and ensure compliance across operations
- Track supplier orders to minimize lead times to distribution centers
- Monitor supplier service levels and conduct regular performance reviews with corrective action plans
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Retail Management, or Logistics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or stock management roles
- At least 2 years of experience within the retail sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory and demand data
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong planning and organizational capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with logistics, commercial, and supplier teams
