Roles & Responsibilities
Project Manager (Civil Engineer)
Role Overview
A Project Manager for Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) oversees the planning, design, manufacturing, and installation of GRC elements — such as architectural facades, cladding panels, decorative features, and structural components — ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
- Develop detailed project schedules (e.g., using Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Design & Technical Oversight
- Review GRC shop drawings and ensure compliance with architectural and structural requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, and engineers for approvals.
- Ensure technical compliance with GRC standards (such as GRCA or PCI guidelines).
- Quality Control & Safety
- Enforce quality assurance protocols in GRC manufacturing (mix design, curing, fiber dispersion, etc.).
- Conduct inspections at factory and site.
- Ensure safety compliance during production and installation.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
- Track costs, manage change orders, and prevent overruns.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Report project progress to clients and senior management.
- Manage expectations and resolve site or design issues promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management
Requirements
- Experience (5+ years) in GRC, precast concrete, or façade projects.
- Strong knowledge of GRC production processes and installation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Driving License (mandatory)
