Key tasks
The main responsibility of the Reservations Supervisor is to assist in the management of Reservations Team, reporting into the Reservations Manager and contributing to the overall success of the function.
Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Department, conducting briefings and assigning tasks to the team.
Monitors the efficiency of reservation handling, ensuring delivery of best-in-class customer service and minimum response times.
Ensures that all reservation details are being captured accurately and that the correct policies and procedures are being adhered to.
Monitors inventory and identifies any opportunities or issues that may arise.
Assists the Reservations Manager with the production of various reports.
Identifies learning and development requirements within the team and conducts training accordingly.
Communicates effectively to the team on any changes to the system, customer profiling, rates, strategies, promotions and specials.
