Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

KN International is urgently seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer (Civil) to join our team. This role involves overseeing the infrastructure services aspects of projects, ensuring quality execution, compliance with local regulations, and efficient coordination with contractors. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in pumping stations and fluid mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and related systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
  • Supervise the contractoru2019s work, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring.
  • Manage and respond to RFIs, submittals, and technical queries.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review project documentation, including material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project efficiency.
  • Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings, providing technical input and status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure services, preferably within the UAE.
  • Experience in Main Pumping Stations, 33kV Substations, and Transmission Networks
  • Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA, approval from TRANSCO is preferred
  • Proven experience in construction supervision, quality control, and contract administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
