Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Quality Control
Inspect and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
Conduct quality checks on materials, workmanship, and finishing.
Ensure all work follows health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.

2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Track project progress against schedules and highlight delays or issues.
Prepare daily/weekly site reports, including progress photos, manpower, and equipment logs.
Attend and contribute to progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

3. Coordination & Communication
Act as the main point of contact on site for the consultant/client.
Coordinate between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
Resolve technical issues and provide solutions in real-time.

4. Documentation & Compliance
Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
Monitor the testing and commissioning of systems.
Ensure all snags and defects are rectified before handover.
