Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise field engineering and utilities construction activities.
  • Lead site operations ensuring adequate staffing, schedule adherence, and technical compliance.
  • Provide direction on work scope, sequencing, safety procedures, and design coordination.
  • Establish and monitor field quality control measures and ensure work meets specifications.
  • Coordinate with project management, contractors, and client representatives for project alignment.
  • Review contractor performance, track progress, and ensure adherence to approved drawings and timelines.
  • Maintain all site records, documentation, design revisions, change orders, and inspection logs.
  • Oversee commissioning, NOC processes, and final project handover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai authority standards, including DEWA, RTA, DM, and NOC procedures.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, providing engineering solutions and recommendations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, mentoring site engineers and inspectors.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure all site activities align with project HSE plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum 15 years of total experience in construction supervision of infrastructure and utilities.

Proven record of leading large-scale projects involving drainage, sewerage, irrigation, and pumping stations.

Strong knowledge of Dubai NOC processes, authority procedures, and project commissioning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and client coordination skills.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as Resident Engineer on Dubai-based projects.

Proficient in interpreting design specifications and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Committed to quality control and safe work practices.
