Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scopes of work, project schedules, and engineering budgets for assigned landscape and irrigation elements
- Monitor project progress to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements
- Identify and document scope changes and ensure timely communication to project stakeholders
- Determine procurement requirements and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and procurement teams
- Participate in bid evaluations and assess supplier capability and availability
- Review construction and engineering work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project procedures
- Monitor productivity and technical performance of team members and reassign staff as project needs evolve
- Conduct performance evaluations, recommend training opportunities, and support personnel development
- Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering inputs, technical support assignments, and overall workflow
- Assist the Project Manager with planning, supervision, technical oversight, and administrative activities
- Determine staffing requirements and technical skill needs for project completion
- Ensure client requirements are met across all engineering disciplines
- Expedite action items after meetings with the client and project leadership
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and manuals for client and internal use
- Act as deputy to the Project Manager when needed, attending key meetings and representing project interests
- Manage change orders, review approvals, and notify project management of all variations
- Circulate technical and contractual information to project teams to maintain alignment
- Handle additional responsibilities as required to support project delivery

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in civil or agricultural engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in landscape and irrigation construction supervision
- Strong background in irrigation engineering and Dubai-based infrastructure networks
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering and construction processes and regional standards
- Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines
- Familiarity with CAD and engineering software relevant to construction and landscape projects
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a supervisory role and deliver high-quality project outcomes
