Respiratory Therapist Ghobash Group

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.

Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation support as prescribed.

Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures.

Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Provide emergency respiratory support, including airway management and resuscitation assistance.

Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care techniques, home oxygen use, and equipment maintenance.

Homecare & Equipment Management (if applicable):

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment (e.g., ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP machines, oxygen concentrators).
• Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized, maintained, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Conduct home visits to assess patient condition, compliance, and safety of home environment for respiratory therapy.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment logs, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to DOH/HAAD/MOH guidelines and internal clinical protocols.
• Participate in audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Education:

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Provide clinical input in developing patient care plans and protocols.
• Assist in training nursing and support staff on respiratory equipment and procedures.
