• Maintain in conjunction with the Manager, sales leads for new business for restaurant and functions.
• Maintain and follow all marketing lead generation processes for groups and functions.
• Implement all marketing initiatives given by the Manager.
• Maintain and update all food and beverage menus as directed by either the executive chef, restaurant manager, bar manager.
• Meet and greet any potential clients for restaurant functions.
• Take restaurant bookings when required during service hours.
• Actively contact potential corporate clients from existing databases during normal service hours.
• Perform all duties associated with restaurant service to include bar service, food service.

• Maintain superior levels of food & beverage service to guests.
• Monitor all storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards of storage areas are being maintained.
• Formulate all menus in conjunction with the restaurant manager.
• Ensure all cashiering policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure all possible controls are in place to deter any cash or stock losses.
• Give assistance to the bar when required.
• Develop and maintain training programs and systems in the venue.
• Develop and maintain up selling programs in association with the restaurant manager.
• Develop and maintain service standards and service sequence.
• Actively maintain all targeted groups with contact on a weekly basis.
• Maintain an effective booking and payments systems for any functions.
• Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner or by the due date.
• Maintain an open communications line to the executive chef, restaurant manager, bar manager.
• Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment.
• Attend and contribute to all scheduled meetings.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Manager.
• Daily briefing and reporting.
• Check each table and get feedback.
• Check toilets once every two hours.
• Assign clean tables on the system so the hostess can know when the table is ready.
• Report to management.
• Make crockery & cutlery inventory.
• Make roster for the month.
• Report complains, complimentary and recommendations.
• Maintain a maximum of personal behavior and hygiene.
• Follow up with clients after they leave if possible.
• Great clients on the way out.
• Clean tables and remove shisha in pick hours.
• Make awareness of marketing campaigns, promotions or events like football games or GCC holidays.
• Keep an eye on your tables from runaway tables.
• Watch and monitor clients greeting at the very walk into the place.
• Approach and take care of frequent clients.
• Monitor all waiters’ performance.
• Ready all bills before giving to clients.
• Close all-cash bills yourself.
• Recommend candidates for appraisal and evaluation.
• Keep your waiters briefed what is the BOH statues.
• Recommend waiter of the month.
• Do not stop training for up-selling and cross-selling.
• Train all coming colleagues and give a close eye on them.
• Check crockery and cutlery smell and polishing.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Age should be 25- 35 years old.
• Minimum of 3 – 8 years of experience working in a restaurant as a supervisor.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience working in UAE in the same field.
• The candidate should be a University graduate/Bachelor’s graduate or its equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in the English language – Both in Oral & Written.
• Knowledge of Local foreign language is an advantage but not preferred.
• Outstanding Guest Relation Skills and experience working in the Restaurant industry and in management.
• Front and Back of House experience is a plus.
• Should have strong leadership skills. Decisive and critical thinker.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
