Lead client meetings, property viewings and new business presentations for the retail sector.
Prepare new business proposals, retail sector option documents and create new business presentations.
Advise clients on strategic alternatives (e.g., costs of operating, closure, restructure, subleasing) regarding a particular location or group of locations.
Renegotiate the business terms of leases to improve store profitability, secure additional option periods and strengthen other provisions or rights.
Negotiate landlord contributions and/or remodelling concessions.
Partner with Store Operations, Lease Administration and Maintenance to resolve any operating issues and incorporate into the restructure renegotiations, as needed.
Work closely with multi-lease landlords on improving packages of leases in bundled negotiations. Leverage opportunities involving multiple stores, relocations and expansions. Recognise and link multiple negotiations together when needed or desired.
Identify new retail concepts entering or suitable for the region and assist them with acquiring suitable space.
Build and improve strong working relationships with landlords and shopping centre management companies.
Engage with all the leading retail brands, understand their bricks and mortar requirements and assist with store roll outs including the identification of suitable premises.
Review and analyse clients’ quantitative retail location data, legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
Develop follow-up materials for clients (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect or client presentations, coordinate information with other departments and agents/surveyors as needed).
Conduct research, collect information and assemble materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis in the retail sector.
Maintain and update all property portals with accurate verified listings.
Maintain and update Cavendish Maxwell’s CRM system (SalesForce) for all client accounts, new contacts, leads, opportunities and inventory.
Participate in team meetings and weekly meetings to update colleagues on leasing and sales activity in the retail sector, market information, new business generating efforts, prospects and market knowledge and trends.

Sales / Business Development

Desired Candidate Profile


Extensive knowledge of the Dubai real estate market and a proven track record in sales and leasing in the retail sector.
Solid experience in negotiating retail store leases and knowledge of lease terms, clauses and provisions.
MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
UAE driving licence and available vehicle.
