Retail manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of 5 retail stores across Doha. Duties include developing teams that perform their jobs effectively to meet customer’s needs. This job requires managing sales and store activity as well as driving service and ensuring standards are upheld across all stores. Candidates should have a deep understanding of running promotions and sales across all of Qatar and understand all the legal requirements from the various government authorities. Practical problem-solving skills are necessary and interpersonal skills are essential to deal with recruiting , training and developing staff. The candidate will also be responsible for new store openings and be able to deal with retail execution. Detailed job profile and skill set is attached.


Sales / Business Development

• Managing and motivating sales teams
• Oversee recruitment and training of staff
• Appointing store managers from both within and outside the organization
• Oversee training of customer service of all employees
• Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, monitoring and appraising job results.
• Ensuring stores hit sales targets and maximize profits
• Ensuring that customer service at the focus of all stores and all employees
• Resolving customer complaints
• Implementation of customer loyalty program
• Marketing and promotions of all stores
• Extensive experience in sales and discount promotional activities
• Understanding of all legal requirements to carry out sales and promotions across Qatar.
• Setup promotional displays and materials
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and being aware of all upcoming new retail destinations.
• The ability to lead and motivate sales teams
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A strong commitment to customer service
• The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Confidence, drive and enthusiasm
