Roles & Responsibilities

Synopsis

The Retail Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the strategy and roadmap of the retail function. The role focuses on business growth, product development, and market expansion ensuring the retail function remains competitive, profitable, and fully aligned with the company s wider commercial and digital strategy. Working across internal teams and external partners, the role drives continuous improvement in product offering, customer experience, and overall performance.

Accountabilities

  • Define the long-term vision, commercial strategy, and roadmap for the 3rd party retail function across multiple markets and product categories.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to expand the 3rd party portfolio, enter new markets, and enhance profitability.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide product positioning, differentiation, and strategic priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Digital, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to align product, pricing, and campaign execution.
  • Develop business cases and P&L models for new initiatives, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with company objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing and CRM teams to define go-to-market strategies, promotional calendars, and brand positioning.
  • Track and analyze KPIs (revenue, margin, conversion, engagement, satisfaction) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous innovation using customer insights, data analytics, and testing to enhance the retail experience.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and operational readiness for all new products and partnerships.
  • Represent 3rd party retail function in internal and external forums, championing the product vision and growth agenda.

Education & Experience

  • 5 7 years of hands-on experience in product management, preferably within the airline or travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital and commercial product strategy.
  • Proven ability to define product vision and inspire cross-functional teams through execution.
  • Solid financial and analytical skills, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
