What you will be doing:
The Rewards Account Manager role is a key part of the team and will have ownership of sourcing partners and managing the process to convert leads to sales, whilst drawing on support from within the Rewards team and across Aimia departments to ensure success.
In addition to having an excellent track record in sales, you will leverage from your strength in creative thinking to identify new partners and propositions to compliment the Air Miles programme. With aggressive growth targets you will be attending client meetings on a daily basis, and whilst the role is UAE focused, travel within the region will be required.
• You ll be accountable for leading, negotiating and closing all partnership deals, and therefore need to be proactive, committed and capable of leading and supporting growth.
• You ll be responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing our client partnership requirements as well as managing the mix of client relationships and strategic growth.
• You ll work as part of a close-knit team providing a great service to our internal customers as well as knowledge sharing across our team ensuring we operate as one business.
• Mixing new business with the growth of existing partnerships you will be responsible for the core product offering and ultimately driving engagement with members, new and old.
What we would like you to have:
• Sales/account management experience preferably from within the loyalty, publishing, F&B, retail, FMCG or media industries.
• Flexible and collaborative approach with an ability to thrive in ambiguity and enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• A proven track record in recruitment of successful, relevant partnerships.
• Loyalty experience preferable.
• A persuasive and engaging demeanor. The best partnerships are not easy to acquire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• An interest in getting involved and making things happen.
• An ability to focus on both the immediate challenges and the bigger picture.
• A willingness to travel within the region when required.
