Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible
consolidating commercial roaming sales plan and forecasting, and developing
reports on sales performance to identify gaps in order to improve sales
performance. In addition, the role holder is responsible for conducting
deep-dive analysis on roaming contracts to support decreasing the cost &
increasing the revenue. The role holder shall carry out his duties in
accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Managerial Responsibilities
• Participates in the development and implementation of
the Commercial Roaming plans, in line with the corporate objectives
• Directs and manages the Roaming Revenue Management
Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes
in order to achieve high performance standards
• Interprets and implements change in the Roaming
Revenue Management Section providing guidance and support, necessary for
continuous improvement
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures
and quality standards in the
Roaming Revenue Management Section
• Core Responsibilities
• Manages the monitoring of Internarial roaming revenue
in coordination with the commercial roaming services support to avoid
any revenue loss
• Leads the efforts to perform deep dive analysis on
Roaming Contracts to identify areas of improvements to support the
business in increasing the revenue and decreeing the cost
• Continuously ensures the follow up with Commercial
Service Support General Directorate regarding Roaming customers billing,
settlements & disputes to ensure maintaining STC best interest.
• Coordinates and follows up with related units for
identifying any fraud detection and prevention systems and processes
that will negatively impact STC s business
• Consolidates Commercial Roaming sales plan and
forecasting in coordination with P&P
• Manages the cascading of sales targets on Commercial
Roaming sales team in alignment with P&P plans
• Continuously monitors Sales performance for
Commercial roaming and develop reports accordingly to identify any gaps
• Coordinates Legal & Regulatory teams and GSMA to
ensure compliance with all applicable policies & requirements on
contracts & Information Security to avoid any potential violation
• Ensures to inform billing teams of signed contracts
and any changes in existing contracts to keep rate tables up-to-date and
• Ensures STC Information in the GSMA info centre are
managed & updated frequently and adequately.
• Ensures that all commercial roaming contracts are
documented according to documentation guidelines
• People Management Responsibilities
• Defines goals and key performance indicators for each
member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC
performance management process.
• Directs planning and selection of manpower in the
Roaming Revenue Management Section, in line with the business and
operational plans.
• Ensures high level of employee engagement and
capability development by providing on - going feedback and coaching
team members within the Roaming Revenue Management Section.
• Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed
by the Director Commercial Roaming in order to meet objectives.
Education level/Major
• Bachelor s degree in Finance/Telecommunication
• Relevant certifications in Finance like CPA, ACA etc.
Years of Experience
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Desired Skills & Knowledge
• Prior experience in the telecommunications Wholesale
Operator environment with focus on Roaming Agreements with evolving
technology developments is preferred.
• Understanding of the Roaming trading environment
• Strong Commercial Negotiation and deal making skills
• Knowledge of global and regional trends and
developments in telecom industry
• Understanding of National, Regional and International
Operations Standards and Procedures
• STC Roaming product and services portfolio knowledge
• Understanding regulatory laws, procedures and
• Customer service orientation
• Knowledge of Billing & settlements for various
products types
