Responsibilities & Authorities

• Participation in the planning of systems
• Participation in product development, prototyping and standardisation
• Development of robot applications
• Carrying out technical clarifications and realising interfaces
• Commissioning of systems up to final acceptance
• Prepare and conduct training
• Contact for questions about robot software and programming
• Modify existing capital equipment to improve product quality, increase part throughput, decrease cost, and strengthen safety measures
• Creation of the technical documentation, including, but not limited to, design input requirements, specifications, testing protocols, installation, and service procedures
• Assist the Manufacturing Engineering group with troubleshooting floor equipment when required
• Comply with the company safety procedures
• Provide timely and detailed status updates
• Quality Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process-driven environment
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites
• Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments

Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude
• Must be a creative thinker, results-oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional experience in robotics and automation
• Good knowledge in robot programming (ABB, Kawasaki, Yaskawa), knowledge of any other brand is appreciated
• Good knowledge of mobile robotics, AGVs, AMRs
• Knowledge of SIEMENS PLC programming
• Knowledge of control and drive technology
• Ability to analyse and solve problems, independent and exact working
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel

Experience

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years UAE experience in the same field
