Room Attendant
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest
rooms, corridors, public areas and pantries according to standards established
by the hotel.
Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai
An impressive 100,000
square meters, the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai comprises 347 luxuriously
appointed rooms, of which 36 are exquisitely spacious suites. Surrounded by
pristinely landscaped tropical gardens are eight highly appointed royal villas
with stunning views of the Palm Lagoon. The hotel s wide variety of
international restaurants, boutique mall and cinema provide ample dining and
entertainment attractions. With its opening in 2018, the hotel s classical
design will complement the Kempinski Residences and Hotel Apartments Palm
Jumeirah, which has been developed in the same architectural style and is
located on the adjacent plot.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean assigned guest rooms
according to the hotel's standards. It involves, but not limited to,
making the bed, dusting the room and furniture, replenishing guest room
and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the carpet.
• Whilst cleaning the room,
verify that all is in proper condition and order of functioning.
• Clean corridors and floor
public areas around guest rooms assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of
equipment and pantries.
• At the end of shift, report
special attention guest, unusual situations, incidents that need follow
up, to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Provide the turn down service
to assigned guest rooms according to standards.
• Keep him/herself informed of
hotel product and service knowledge in order to answer guest questions.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role,
ideally in a five star luxury hotel.
• Physical ability to clean a minimum of 10 rooms per
working shift according to standards, including pushing and pulling the
room attendant trolley.
• Strong attention to details.
• Flexible and open minded approach.
