Room Technician JA Resorts & Hotels

Job Specification:

Attend to all kinds of routine maintenance in guest rooms, villas and public areas including planned preventive maintenance, cleaning, repairs, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and attend to routine and planned maintenance, maintenance requests.

• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance as per O&M manuals and schedules.

• Maintains the rooms and assets to the highest standards.

• Raise necessary purchase requests and checks that the correct materials are delivered as requested in terms of quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
• Contribute to hotel profitability, ensuring the serviceability of electromechanical facility in order to accomplish the highest standards of operating conditions at all times.
• The efficient and cost effective running of the Engineering department policies and procedures and they are fully endorsed and followed through.
• Actively involve Energy saving initiatives in the department
• Attend briefings, meetings, Town Hall meetings as required.
• Maintain good relationships with colleagues and contribute to team spirit.
• Cooperate and interact with other departments to provide additional/outstanding guest services.

Experience and Skills:

• High School or equivalent.
• Vocational Diploma or equivalent certificate in Electrical/Mechanical.
• Should be good in electromechanical engineering.
• Should have passion to learn new technology to implement in work area
