Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform daily inspections of guest rooms to ensure proper functioning of all equipment, lighting, plumbing, and furniture.
Carry out repairs and maintenance work for any room-related issues, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general room upkeep.
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize guest disruption.
Ensure rooms are prepared and maintained in excellent condition before guest check-in.
Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies needed for room repairs.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols when performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
Report any major malfunctions or problems to the Engineering Department or Maintenance Manager for further action.
Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to address any room-related issues that affect guest satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the work environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in hotel maintenance or room technician roles preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance procedures.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
