Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze radiographic films meticulously, identifying and documenting any anomalies, defects, or areas of concern with precision.
- Apply specialized knowledge of radiography principles, materials science, and industry standards to interpret film results accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings, including detailed descriptions, measurements, and photographic documentation for each inspection.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to discuss results, provide insights, and offer recommendations for follow-up actions.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout the interpretation process.
- Utilize advanced image analysis software and equipment to enhance the clarity and accuracy of film interpretation, ensuring correct results.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiographic techniques and interpretation.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive inspection data, maintaining secure storage and handling practices.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of interpretation procedures and training materials, enhancing team performance and knowledge.
- Perform inspections in various environments, including industrial sites, laboratories, and field locations, adapting to diverse operational conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates should have certification in ASNT ACCP Level III or CSWIP/PCN Level II in RTFI along with 5 years experience post certification relevant to Oil & Gas Industry.
- A proven track record in the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, or Power Generation industries is highly desirable.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM), and regulations.
