Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and recommending practical control measures to prevent incidents.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide engaging safety training and awareness programs to employees, fostering a positive safety culture and promoting safe work practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
- Holds a relevant safety certification, such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent, showcasing professional competence.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety role within the construction or oil and gas industry, providing practical expertise.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of relevant safety regulations (OSHA, etc.), ensuring legal compliance.
