JUNIOR SAFETY ENGINEER (WASTEWATER TREATMENT) DUNCAN AND ROSS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCIES

Actively monitor and enforce HSE compliance on site, with a strong focus on field inspections and workforce engagement. Identify, assess, and control hazards specific to wastewater treatment facilities, including confined spaces, biological hazards, chemicals, sludge handling, gases (e.g., HS), and mechanical equipment. Conduct daily site safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Support the implementation of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety procedures at all times. Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. Liaise closely with site management, contractors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture. Assist with emergency preparedness, drills, and response procedures relevant to wastewater operations. Maintain accurate HSE records and ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirement
