Safety Officer BRC Arabia LLC

BRC Arabia is looking for a proactive and safety-driven Safety Officer to support and strengthen workplace health, safety, and environmental standards across our industrial operations in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating a safe working environment, ensuring compliance, driving awareness, and partnering closely with operations teams to prevent incidents before they occur. The role profile is aligned to an industrial safety function focused on regulatory compliance, inspections, risk control, emergency preparedness, training, and safe execution of site / factory activities.

Role Scope : As Safety Officer, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HSE implementation across the workplace, helping ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and safe operating procedures. The role covers safety inspections, incident reporting, training, emergency response readiness, hazard identification, documentation, and continuous improvement of safety practices across an industrial environment.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across the workplace and promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

2. Conduct routine site / factory safety inspections, identify hazards, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

3. Prepare and review risk assessments, safety observations, and control measures for operational activities.

4. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and support timely reporting and action closure.

5. Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to employees, contractors, and visitors.

6. Support emergency preparedness by coordinating drills, evacuation exercises, and readiness of emergency and firefighting equipment.

7. Monitor workplace practices, housekeeping standards, PPE usage, and safe execution of operational / maintenance activities.

8. Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, incident logs, training records, and management updates.

9. Liaise with internal stakeholders and support inspections or interactions with relevant external authorities when required.

10. Contribute to ongoing improvements in site safety procedures, safety communication, and compliance practices.

11. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

12. Develop and implement effective safety training programs tailored to the specific needs of the workforce, promoting a culture of safety awareness.

13. Collaborate with management to create and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are prepared for any potential crisis.
