Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all health and safety related matters within the facility
  • Prepare, update, and maintain health and safety checklists for facility operations
  • Ensure all workers consistently wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Monitor discipline and punctuality during work and break times
  • Conduct daily safety inspections inside the facility and around the external perimeter
  • Identify hazards and near-miss risks and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors
  • Maintain discipline and workplace harmony in coordination with supervisors and managers
  • Report any unsafe, disruptive, or dishonest conduct to management
  • Assist in planning and delivering regular health and safety training and awareness sessions
  • Conduct safety induction training for new staff
  • Record and maintain incident and accident reports accurately
  • Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools, arranging periodic checks and repairs
  • Manage first aid kits, maintain stock records, and provide first aid assistance when required
  • Participate in evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuations with the designated team
  • Ensure emergency exits, doors, and signage are properly maintained
  • Monitor and control high-risk activities within the facility
  • Support waste management, housekeeping systems, and workplace hygiene standards
  • Perform additional safety-related duties as assigned by the department head

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory
  • Mid-level experience in health and safety within logistics, warehouse, or industrial environments
  • Energetic and physically capable of conducting regular inspections
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify near-miss risks
  • Excellent people management and discipline handling skills
  • Self-disciplined with a strong commitment to safety culture
  • Proactive team player dedicated to continuous improvement
  • Good communication, presentation, and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
