Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all health and safety related matters within the facility
  • Prepare, update, and maintain health and safety checklists for facility operations
  • Ensure all workers are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Monitor discipline and adherence to safety rules during work and break times
  • Conduct daily safety rounds inside and outside the facility to identify hazards and abnormalities
  • Coordinate with supervisors and managers to resolve safety issues promptly
  • Report any indiscipline, unsafe behavior, or misconduct to management
  • Assist in planning and delivering periodic health and safety training and safety awareness sessions
  • Conduct safety induction training for new staff
  • Record and maintain incident and accident reports accurately
  • Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools, arranging periodic checks and repairs
  • Manage first aid kits, maintain stock records, and provide first aid support when required
  • Participate in evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuations with the assigned team
  • Ensure emergency exits and safety signage are properly maintained
  • Monitor high-risk activities within the facility and enforce safety controls
  • Support waste management, housekeeping, and workplace hygiene initiatives
  • Perform additional safety-related tasks assigned by the department head

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory
  • Mid-level experience in health and safety within logistics, warehouse, or industrial environments
  • Energetic and physically capable of conducting regular site inspections
  • Strong observation skills with the ability to identify near-miss risks
  • Proven people management and discipline handling abilities
  • Self-disciplined with a strong commitment to safety culture
  • Proactive team player with focus on continuous improvement
  • Good communication, presentation, and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
