Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective safety training programs tailored to the specific needs of the workforce, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions, preventing future incidents.
- Collaborate with management to create and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are prepared for any potential crisis.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred for foundational knowledge.
- Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent demonstrates a commitment to professional standards in safety management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction or manufacturing industry, showcasing hands-on expertise.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, ensuring compliance in all safety practices.
