Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Own merchant acquisition in the UAE market by identifying, pitching, and onboarding new merchants to Paymob’s solutions.
Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and negotiation to onboarding and activation.
Build a strong pipeline of new merchants to support Paymob’s growth and market expansion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for acquired merchants, ensuring smooth onboarding and early success.
Develop strong relationships with merchant stakeholders to drive long-term partnerships.
dentify opportunities to grow revenue through cross-selling and upselling Paymob products and services.
Analyze merchant needs and recommend upgrades, premium offerings, and additional solutions.
Present new features, product enhancements, and value-added services to support merchant growth.
Meet and exceed revenue targets with a primary focus on new merchant acquisition and secondary focus on account expansion.
Track acquisition, conversion, and revenue metrics to optimize sales performance.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding merchants on how to maximize value from Paymob’s solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to support merchant acquisition, retention, and growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
2–3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field, with proven experience in the UAE market (fintech, payments, or B2B preferred).
Strong understanding of the UAE payments landscape, merchant ecosystem, and regulatory environment.
Fluent in English with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Solid knowledge of Paymob’s products and the broader fintech industry.
Demonstrated success in managing merchant relationships and driving revenue growth through merchant acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to evolving market conditions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into commercial actions.
