Sales and Marketing Executive
Reports To: Business Development Manager
Job Overview: The main task is to contribute information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies. The Sales and Marketing Executive will help to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered and at the same time will also need to track sales data and work to meet quotas or sales team goals by supporting them.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Create marketing documents and activities for boosting both online and offline sales.
Address all incoming leads effectively: The Sales and Marketing Executive will directly handle the client interaction for each opportunity through phone calls, emails, and messages. Customer interactions have to be handled carefully and effectively.
Use the CRM tool to save the address and client details and to create an opportunity.
Make quotations and sales invoices for the opportunity or request support from the Sales Administrator to do so.
Inform the team of all the customer feedback that is received.
Intermediate product knowledge of all the products that are handled by the department.
Prepare newsletters and handle all the newsletters being sent out for each product.
Handle all social media accounts and improve these in order to generate more leads or to create awareness
Come up with plans to create CSR activities and conduct them effectively.
Prepare a list of all the events that are taking place in each quarter and inform the management in the interest to participate as well as the ROI advantage of each event.
Prepare everything necessary to conduct events through the support of the Sales team, Tech Support team, and Logistics.
Constantly update marketing materials for each product and create new ones in the absence of documents.
Participate in events and exhibitions in order to support the generation of leads.
Follow up with the leads generated at events till a decision is made.
Must update the server folders constantly.
Must handle and must have knowledge of the Sales Administrator’s tasks in the scenario of unavailability of the administrator.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
2 – 3 years in a similar role
CRM experience
Quoting and Invoicing software experience (or at least on MS) is ideal
Good enough product knowledge to create marketing documents and activities
Attention to detail and swift action
Should be able to communicate very effectively with the team to finish off tasks effectively
