Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To be polite and helpful when dealing with customer queries or complaints - referring them to DM/ SM/SO when necessary.
  • Support in maintenance of stock through continuous management of stock levels and availability on floor through inward, outward and stock replenishment functions. Where stock room stock levels are low, must inform DM/SM/SO.
  • Receiving and verifying merchandise shipment quality and quantity along with unpacking and categorizing assistance.
  • Sorting, tagging and placing products onto racks, shelves and mannequins as per company standards.
  • Operates tills, accepting cash, credit cards and vouchers. Ensure that billing counters always has enough carry bags, stationery, audit rolls and wrapping paper at the till point.
  • Assisting in price and discount checks, exchange/return product availability. Trial room management as per customer traffic.
  • Must have at least passed SSC or possess equivalent qualifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is preferred for a competitive edge.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service, ideally 1-3 years, demonstrating a track record of successful sales performance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster connections with diverse customers and colleagues, enhancing team dynamics.
  • Positive attitude and resilience, capable of handling rejection and remaining motivated to achieve sales goals.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed, ensuring a hands-on approach to sales and service.
  • A customer-centric mindset, emphasizing empathy and understanding to effectively address client needs and concerns.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency, such as Spanish or Mandarin, is a plus to serve a broader customer base.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer shopping patterns.
