Presently, we have been retained by one of our clients which is a large FMCG distributor in the United Arab Emirates. They seek to hire for the position of Sale Analyst to be based in Dubai. The Sales / Business Development Analyst will play a critical role in the enhancement and improvement of top line business understanding and decision making. The primary responsibility of this role is to act, in a pivotal manner and provide analytical, operational, executional support to the Regional Manager (GCC and Africa) and to a sales team. This newly created role is to support the Sales Management by leveraging data to drive in market implementation and ensure follow up and the tracking of all initiatives. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data in order to increase overall sales productivity. He will assist in the development of measurement tools, methodologies and various business processes for the purpose of refining operational efficiency. The role will thus provide relevant information that will enable the organization to make informed decisions on market trends, competition performance and reduce risks through these market insights. The role will also assist in the entire forecasting, planning, ordering on demand and supplying to markets. The role will also provide weekly, monthly quarterly and annual performance reports, by markets, categories, channels and individual customers.
Support the Regional Sales Manager with in depth analysis of strengths and weaknesses of existing sales/ marketing/ trade marketing policies and procedures.
Using market analytic techniques and through the purchase of syndicated reports, collect, analyze, evaluate and report sales data to increase productivity.
Provide sales direction with regard to sales patterns, trends and future consumer purchases to drive business decisions.
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and provide sales forecasts/ monitor POS portals as well as extract data to create dashboard reports.
Assist in the development of sales trade plans aligned with marketing and sales objectives by providing tactical analytical reports.
Follow up with distributors and the various customers in order to drive clarity of trade market plans and their execution.
Support and follow up on shelf management projects and aid in presentation development as and when needed.
Conduct full supply chain cycle: planning, forecasting, ordering, supplying and providing reports to support the activity.
Support field sales activity and execution of customer specific plans and initiatives through providing them with relevant information, analytical data and reports on ROI after execution.
Assist in the tracking and analysis of sales metrics at each product category / SKU level for internal and external use.
