Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Management
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Fire Alarm and Life Safety market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
- Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
2. Technical Sales & Proposal Management
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Fire Alarm system solutions.
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals (design, specifications, pricing, BOQ).
- Coordinate with the estimation team for accurate costing.
- Ensure proposals comply with UAE Fire & Life Safety codes and Civil Defense regulations.
3. Coordination & Internal Support
- Work closely with pre-sales, estimation, engineering, and project teams during bidding.
- Provide technical clarification/support to project execution teams when needed.
- Communicate with suppliers/OEMs to obtain quotations and product details.
4. Market Awareness & Compliance
- Stay updated on Fire Alarm technologies, standards, and market competitors.
- Ensure all solutions fully comply with local Civil Defense and other regulatory requirements.
- Introduce innovative solutions or new technologies to clients where suitable.
5. Sales Results & Work Discipline
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide clear forecasting and follow-up on all leads/opportunities.
- Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and quality in all communications and submissions.
- Maintain documentation and ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.
- Follow company dress code and behavior guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Fire Alarm / Life Safety Systems (e.g., NFPA, Civil Defense–approved training) are an added advantage.
2. Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Fire Alarm or ELV within the UAE.
- Proven track record of working with consultants, contractors, and end clients.
- Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for Fire Alarm systems.
3. Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Fire Alarm systems, detectors, control panels, and system integration.
- Knowledge of UAE Fire & Life Safety codes and Civil Defense regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with major Fire Alarm brands and OEM product lines.
4. Sales & Communication Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into suitable proposals.
- Strong customer relationship-building abilities.
- Proactive in lead generation, follow-ups, and closing sales.
5. Personal Attributes
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Professional, confident, and well-presented in client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
