Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer specialized in Flow Elements Design, Calculation, and Documentation. The candidate will be responsible for technical evaluation, design, and proposal support for a wide range of flow measurement instruments including Orifice Plates (Restriction, Flow & Multistage Types), Venturi Meters, Flow Nozzles, and Valves.


The role requires strong technical expertise in fluid flow calculation, differential pressure measurement principles, and familiarity with international standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and orifice sizing/calculation software is essential.


  • Design and calculate flow elements including orifice plates, venturi meters, flow nozzles, and restriction orifices, Flow Conditioners and Restriction Assemblies as per project requirements and international standards.
  • Execute orifice sizing and flow calculations using specialized software and manual computation.
  • Prepare technical documents, datasheets, GA drawings, and calculation reports for client review and approval.
  • Support the sales and proposal team with accurate technical inputs during inquiry and quotation stages.
  • Coordinate with clients and EPCs for technical clarifications and ensure complete compliance with project specifications.
  • Review and verify vendor documents, ITPs, and drawings related to flow element manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support to production, inspection, and quality teams during fabrication.
  • Maintain strong awareness of industry standards and emerging technologies in flow measurement.
  • Assist in the selection and integration of differential pressure flow measurement instruments in process systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong technical knowledge in Flow Elements Design (Orifice, Venturi, Flow Nozzle, Restriction Orifice, Valves).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting of flow element drawings).
  • Experience with Orifice sizing and flow calculation software
  • Good understanding of standards related to flow measurement and orifice design.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple inquiries simultaneously.
