Job Description

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between complex technical concepts and effective sales strategies. You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify client needs, provide technical solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. With a strong technical background and excellent communication skills, you will actively contribute to business growth by supporting account executives in engaging prospects and clients with your detailed understanding of product capabilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen. You will participate in the development of sales proposals, provide detailed product demonstrations, and ensure seamless customer onboarding by translating customer requirements into tangible technical solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you are the technical advocate for the client within the company, ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales team to gather customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations to illustrate product features and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain deep understanding of the company's product portfolio and its application.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers before, during, and after sales process.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer requirements to develop effective sales proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering to ensure accurate product delivery standards.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote product knowledge.
  • Identify potential clients by researching industries and market trends for potential leads.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible information for clients and sales teams.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Work closely with after-sales service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven sales experience with technical products and solutions in relevant industry.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer relationship management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to persuade and influence.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, sales, and client service teams.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools preferred.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
