Serves customers by selling products; meeting, explaining, convincing and ensuring customer needs. Sells in the flexibility and diversity of the company with bespoke food product solutions. To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas while developing new customers and maintaining existing sales
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery
To develop a target list of new customer development with district manager s support
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume driven customers in the HORECA, Foodservice, catering / events and retail markets
Coordinates with Marketing Manager updates on market specific price lists and product literature
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Monitors trends and competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, other unique issues as it relates to sales
Reaching the month, quarterly and yearly targets
Recommends changes in products, service, and strategy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Able to easily convince customers with a buy mentality based on product, customer service and quality
Participate in marketing / sales events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
Coordinate orders and dispatch teams shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services in Dubai and export within UAE
Develop a front-line relationship with assigned customers
Other responsibilities as required
Increasing the knowledge of the products to existing and potential customers by coordinating demonstrations and meetings with development chefs, production and technical advisors
Services existing accounts, obtains orders if required, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
Develop a daily / weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management production and Quality teams
Instigates regular follow ups with internal teams and external customers
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job Skills and Quali?cations:
Knowledge and experience on; Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory
Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Con?dence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales
Knowledge of food, food ingredients and nonfood products, their application and preparation preferably
pastry, bakery, ice cream, pasta, ready meals, Jams
Min of 4 years experience in HORECA external sales in a food manufacturing or distribution company in UAE
Being smart, presentable and having excellent communication skills
Hotel / restaurant background preferred but not required
Highly motivated and responsible self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, is service and customer oriented and able to solve problems
At least 2+ years in the coffee service industry to the horeca market from bean knowledge to growing
High school or equivalent qualification, with some business and food technology knowledge
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) and preferably having knowledge in Arabic, but not a necessity
Valid driving license, with good knowledge of UAE roads and locations
Hands-on experience with brewing equipment and defining the different beans
Hands-on experience with grinding and roasting coffee and mixing different beans
