1. To promote and up sale the facilities and outlets of the hotel.
2. Work closely with Sales, Front Office & Housekeeping in planning room requirements, room blocking and amenity.
3. Fully conversant with hotel layout, services and facilities.
4. To understand and utilize a consistent approach to selling in order to support the sales team.
5. Maintain a professional attitude appearance at work and when representing the hotel.
6. Completely understands and adheres to the policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
7. Carries out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
8. Enforce departmental procedures for approaching a contact from the initial calls to documentation and follow up.
9. Make a research in the market for any upcoming events and approach your accounts.
10. Maintains and upgrades communication networks to ensure that the hotel is having a competitive advantage in information and sales leads.
11. Liaises with concerned department to ensure that operations will deliver the best quality products to the clients.
12. Analyses the sales results and recommends ways to improve or solve the problems.
13. Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate accounts
14. Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up
15. Target new and existing accounts within the Lotteries, Oil & Gas, Construction, Government, and Educational sectors for new business.
16. Work with the Marketing Dept to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiatives.
17. Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email and networking events
18. Follow up on leads generated through retail stores, research and promotional events.
19. Work with suppliers to secure opportunity buys and availability of products
20. Coordinate product logo placement with contractors to meet the client s specifications
21. Analyze sales trends, track unit sales, and generate gross margin reports.
22. Generate monthly budgets and sales forecasts
23. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote the corporate program
24. Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
