Sales Manager FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
Scope Of Work:
Previous Sales FMCG experience in the Lebanese Market is essential & prerequisit.
Will be responsible for the Sales department covering the Lebanese market including distributors, key accounts, merchandisers, wholesalers and retailers etc .. Will elaborate 4P s strategy across key accounts channels and monitor their implementation. Will study the competition and customers insights to anticipate market growth opportunities, determine new portfolios and market channels to operate in. Will elaborate quarterly reports reviews and keep the management informed about the sales status
He should be able to plan, organize and implement a range of sales promotion programs and/or events.
Previous Knowledge experience in retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare the annual sales plan for his division in cooperation with the sales supervisors and Key Accounts within the guide lines set by the Management.
2. Recommend to the management sales strategies, policies and procedures related to achieving all the set targets.
3. Achieve targets (Sales and Collection) as set with sales management in accordance with the company s annual sales plan.
4. Supervises the day to day operation of the division, to ensure that all company policies and procedures are respected.
5. Monitors sales supervisors, as well as sales representatives, in conducting calls on potential / current customers to promote the relationship and additional sales of products as well as collection of due payments within company credit policy
6. Monitor the effective shelf exposure and product pricing in the market.
7. Monitors the performance of all sales people in the division through the comparison of actual vs targeted sales, and provide feedback to the supervisors in terms of guidelines and coaching. And Continuous corrective measures to maintain planned targets.
8. Provide on the job training to the sales supervisors and sales representatives.
9. Follows-up on accounts receivables in coordination with the sales supervisors and collectors, and handle the cases of delayed payments.
10. Handel introductions of new products into the market.
11. Periodic bridging with major customers through scheduled follow up visits.
12. Monitoring competitor s activities in the market.
13. Maintaining a high level of team motivation focus.
14. Stick to the timing for all the reports and be accurate in all the reports. 15. Ensures that supervisors and sales representatives are relaying the image of the company in
The best way, by advising customers on the best products that satisfy their needs in terms of range
as well as stock level, by conducting regular market visits.
Education Required:
- Business Administration and or/ Marketing majoring University graduate from accredited University is a must/ Prerequisit.
Languages & Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluent in English literacy
(15 years & more) in FMCG products experience with the latest 8 years in sales management exposure.
No FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) experience don't apply
