Sales Manager - Government & Diplomat

To ensure that the hotel is accurately represented in my assigned market segment and that the brand image, products, and services are effectively communicated and maintained at all levels, generating the desired results both in booking and revenue, analyses local and international market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keeps The H Dubai is a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
You shall report directly to Director of Business Development and must interact well with all guests, Department Leaders and colleagues alike.
Analyze government sectors & Diplomat market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
Develop customer accounts both domestically and internationally (GCC) to drive business into the hotel and to increase market/customer share in Government & Diplomat sales.
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to identify and drive focused activities on elements of the business that require additional support
Prepare and present, on a monthly basis, the contribution, focus and activity of the proactive sales team to senior management team
Develop relationships and partnership with key accounts
Initiate new sales, prospect and qualify leads and solicit potential clients
Identification of potential new accounts and assures corresponding sales activities to win these customers
Support team and DOS in the preparation and drawing up of contracts for the hotels in accordance with the current business strategy and price/market conditions
Coordinate any required administrative work in terms of reporting of figures, account forecasts and drawing up account development plans within the time frame given and the quality expected.
Contribute to the development of company sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing and monitoring appropriate local activities
With support of the commercial team, determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel, as needed
Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals in Government sectors
Requirements include having a minimum 2 years experience in the UAE in 5-star hotels as a Sales Executive looking for their next challenge or a Sales Manager looking for a change in environment.
Knowledge of local market

Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (If applicable)
Proven track record of securing and exceeding sales targets
