Sales Manager Job Description

• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Arrange the daily sales report and report to the Finance team regularly.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the sales executives.
• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Responsible for devising sales actions for retail sales team.
• Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of sale on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Controls sales expenses to meet budget guidelines.
• Devising effective and appropriate sales strategies and tactics to get competitive advantage.
• To project accurate, precise and realistic sales and demand forecasting to compete the market.
• To formulate & implement Pricing Strategies with the help of Finance dept.
• To prepare sales implementation plans.
• To set sales targets and budget with the help of finance dept.
• To monitor the performance of sales team
• Responsible for customer service (pre/ after sales).
• Train staff on various products and customer services.
• Liaise with Branch / stores Managers on sales targets, stock availability and service levels.
• Responsible for verifying pricing structures.
• Planning and preparation for key/promotional events with the marketing team.
• Keeps track of inventory and inventory procedures reconciliation(theoretical and Practical)
• Expand the no. of retail location and conduct retail feasibility studies.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
