Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base in the fabrication sector.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in infrastructure, oil & gas, industry, and fabrication sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government bodies.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in coordination with estimation and engineering teams.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand market trends and position the company effectively.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers or representatives to meet performance goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing.
- Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with deliverables.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events to promote company capabilities.
- Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline status, forecasts, and business development activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to company procedures.
- Any additional responsibility assigned by the General Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in sales or business development within the fabrication or steel/metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (e.g., structural steel, modular fabrication, piping, tanks, or pressure vessels).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
