Job Purpose

Sales Manager is responsible to develop business and make sales strategies focused on Education sector across UAE and other regions. Responsible for the performance and development of the account executives/ Key Account Manager’s/ sales account managers.
Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify new potential clients within the allocated sector and implement business development activities
• Achieve sales targets for self (if any) and the team in order to ensure that the division targets are achieved
• Report sales forecasts and business updates to the immediate manager in order to make sure that the senior sales team is fully informed and able to take timely business decisions especially with regards to the gap between actual and projected sales
• Manage and coach sales staff in order to ensure high performance and motivation so as to achieve division targets
• Maintain relationships with clients by constantly being in touch with them in order to understand their requirements and manage their expectations
• Coordinate with logistics and service department to ensure timely delivery and installation in line with the customer’s requirements
• Support the finance division in order to ensure healthy and timely collections (cash flow).
• Identify and launch key products & solutions fit for education sector
• Understanding the economic structure of education industry by identifying dynamics, gaps and requirements
• Identifying the best customers in place
• Understanding competitors and their products
• Establishing environmental scanning mechanisms to detect opportunities and threats
• Coordinating the sales function with other parts of the promotional mix, such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and publicity
• Creating a sustainable competitive advantage
• Understanding where brands should be in the future, and providing an empirical basis to write marketing plans regularly to help get there.

Job Requirements
• Minimum- A graduate degree in related discipline. MBA is a plus
• At least 8+ years of experience in the Office Automation industry, of which 2-3yrs in team management role
• Education sector clientele mandatory
• A proven, successful track record in business development in education sector
• Ability to train and coach the sales team to achieve targets
• Advanced IT skills
• Develop and sustain strong customer relationships
• You also need to possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment using a range of verbal and written skills, including drafting and delivering powerful PP presentations
• Strong commercial acumen & excellent negotiation abilities.
