As a Sales Manager of SMB Commercial Team, you will have the opportunity to work with the regions leading hotel and attraction companies in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company leading Sojern s regional SMB business. Reporting into the regional commercial director.
We expect the person who fulfills this role to be a strong leader and have a proven sales track record within the hospitality and tourism space. The required candidate will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities, developing a regional SMB pipeline and closing business with relevant SMB clients in the MEA region.
The candidate will need to be a team player and will form part of a regional team based in Dubai working very closely with a dedicated SMB customer success manager.
•Identify and secure strategically, new customers in the Middle East and Africa.
•Responsible for driving Sojern s revenue growth of business in the Middle East and Africa.
•Travel Required - 25%
•Independently create and deliver persuasive presentations that educate the market and demonstrate Sojern s value proposition
•Develops and execute a regional market plan to maximize revenue
•Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure smooth handover of new campaigns, effective QBRs and continue to monitor campaign success for learning and driving efficiencies.
•Negotiate and secure insertion orders on behalf of Company to achieve set business goals through commercial terms that include commission levels and advantageous upselling opportunities
•On a quarterly basis, achieving and exceeding targets with your astute sales strategies
•Keep abreast of any regional hotel electronic distribution and marketing trends: new, emerging or changing
•Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels from GM, revenue director, marketing directors, etc
What you bring to the table:
•Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
•5 years overall experience, with at least 2 year in hospitality, digital and programmatic advertising and/or travel industry
•Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
•Proven track record of exceeding goals and contributing to team success
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Highly goal-driven and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
•Effective skills in influencing and communicating cross-functionally
•High level of quality-orientation and attention to details
•Proficiency in standard business and sales software, including but not limited to Salesforce, Gsuite, and Office products
