An exciting opportunity is available for a Head of Marketing & Sales RGP BU Plastic in Dammam and will report directly to Head of BU Plastic Dammam.
About the role :
The purpose of this role is to manage sales of the company s products and services across the different geographic areas and to ensure stable and profitable growth in sales revenue through effective deployment and management of sales personnel.
In this role, you will be responsible to:
• Plan and implement long- and short-term sales and marketing programs
• Develop forecasts and execute strategic marketing and sales plans that are aligned with production plans of plants to achieve SBU and BU objectives
• Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
• Review and analyse sales performances against targets and identify ways to improve effectiveness
• Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities
• Oversee and evaluate market research and make changes to marketing strategy to reflect market and competitive conditions
• Develop pricing strategy based on market intelligence and strategic objectives (e.g., increasing margins or increasing market share)
• Gather and update intelligence on products and marketing & sales activities of competitors
• Take responsibility for achieving sales and market share targets agreed upon with senior management
• Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
• Develop and manage department operating budgets
• Analyze and control department expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements
• Take corrective action, if required, to ensure marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets
• Oversee and guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management
• Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
• Coordinate with relevant technical services department to develop product manuals and other related literature to ensure sales representative have relevant product technical information to clarify client concerns
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Represent company at exhibitions, seminars, and trade association meetings to promote product
• Maintain relationships with key clients and negotiate and close deals
• Evaluate regional representatives on a routine basis to ensure sales performance
• Manage day-to-day operations of the department, encourage teamwork, and share a trusting relationship with workgroup
About You:
You will ideally be required to have the following requirements:
• University degree in marketing or business administration
• 12+ years of experience in marketing & sales in global market with 5+ years of management experience; experience in plastics manufacturing industry company a plus
• Experience in developing marketing & sales strategies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance, identify trends from market data, determine appropriate course of action, and prepare forecasts
• Strong leadership, planning, organizing, and team-building skills
• Excellent client relationship building skills
• Excellent written communication, oral presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience in budgeting
• Strong computer skills (familiarity with MS Office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Highly motivated and results oriented
