Job Summary:
• Handling all sales activities by supervising and directing medical representatives in a way to ensure the achievement of sales targets and to guarantee proper implementation of sales plans, in addition to assisting in the organization of conferences and lectures to present Hikma s products.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Assigning sales team targets and consequently monitoring the achievement of such targets
• Identifying sales prospects and potential clients while directing medical representatives towards such opportunities
• Assisting in the organization of conferences and lectures to present Hikma s products while ensuring the effective development of contacts
• Training the medical representatives team on effective sales skills required for best performance in the pharmaceutical industry in addition to passing on product knowledge and medical updates
• Studying draw-backs and client objections related to Hikma products while recommending solutions and plans to overcome sales/marketing obstacles in coordination with the marketing function
• Identifying competitors activity as well as determining Hikma products that have greater opportunities for generating revenues
• Preparing sales-related reports and documents (completed sales transactions, sales team performance etc) to the Sales Manager
• Setting medical representatives visit schedules in line with the pre-set sales targets and territories covered
• Reviewing reports prepared by the medical representatives while providing support in all sales-related activities
• Following up on medical representatives attendance and other HR related tasks while notifying the HR function on teams performance
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the Sales function activities and achievements in addition to the market and competitors activities to be submitted to the Sales Manager
• Supporting the team in the KOL management by conducting double visits
• Specifying manpower requirements according to recruitment and selection and manpower planning practices
• Participating in determining training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel
• Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices
• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor

Desired Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or equivalent; a Master s degree is of added value but not a pre-requisite
• A minimum of four years experience in the pharmaceutical sales field
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
