Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Respond to Guests bookings and queries in a professional manner.
• Record reservations and manage the appointment schedule.
• Promote and up sell salon services and retail sales.
• Conduct confirmation calls.
• Checking Guests in and out, following payment procedures.
• Ensure the reception area is clean and presentable at all times.
• Update and manage client profiles.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Assist in the development and updating of the spa menu.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are a brand new luxury Hair and Beauty Salon in the heart of Muscat, Oman.

The Salon receptionist manages the front desk and provides exceptional customer service to members and guests. Professional and friendly communication, coordination, and cooperation sets the tone for positive resident and guest attitudes while visiting the Salon.

This position reports to the Salon Operation Manager.


• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in the related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in hospitality or any customer oriented industry.
• Must have a passion for People and customer service.
• Support salon experience through maintaining cleanliness and safe work areas.
• Possess strong interpersonal, oral communication and listening skills.
• Reliable and available to work schedules that support salon peak hours.
• Must be able to operate retail systems
• Must be ready to work 6 days a week. Weekly off will be any day other than Fridays & Saturdays. Also ready to work during holidays as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Freely and openly take direction from seniors.
• Should keep tab of all latest fashion trends and beauty treatments.
