Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, and debris from surfaces, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and masking areas to prevent damage during blasting operations.
- Select appropriate abrasive materials based on the type of surface and desired finish, optimizing efficiency and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in sandblasting or surface preparation is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sandblasting or a related field, demonstrating skill and expertise.
- Certification in safety practices and equipment operation, such as OSHA or equivalent, is highly desirable.
- Experience working in industrial settings, particularly in construction, manufacturing, or automotive industries.
