Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems according to blueprints, safety regulations, and project specifications, ensuring structural integrity and worker safety at all times.
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear before each use, promptly replacing faulty parts to prevent accidents and maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other tradespeople to determine the best scaffolding solutions for different project needs and access requirements.
- Securely anchor scaffolding to structures and ground surfaces using appropriate fixings and methods, accounting for wind loads and other environmental factors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and basic understanding.
- Holds a valid scaffolding certification from a recognized training provider, proving competence in scaffolding erection and safety.
- Demonstrates experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations, showcasing a commitment to workplace safety.
