Roles & Responsibilities

Housing allowance or school provided accommodation
Economy-class airfare will be provided for the employee, spouse, and up to three dependent children (below 18 years old) in the following cases:
a. Upon recruitment from the employee s country of permanent residence to Doha.
b. At the end of service, provided that the residence permit is cancelled.
Medical services will be provided in accordance with the governmental healthcare policy applicable in the State of Qatar.
Tuition Fees
Reimbursement is provided for tuition fees of up to three dependents under 18 years old, from Grade 1/Year 1 to Grade 12/Year 13, with a maximum of QAR 28,000 per child per year.
Reimbursement is processed upon submission of the school s official payment receipts and supporting documents.
Utilities -covers the full cost of water and electricity, and internet services up to QAR 300 per month (basic plan).
The contract is for one year

Brief Job Description
The English Language Teacher (Grades 7 12) is responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction that develops students language proficiency, communication skills, academic literacy, and confidence in both general and STEM-related contexts. The postholder will design and teach engaging lessons aligned with school curriculum expectations, focusing on English as a second language, academic reading and writing, and preparation for standardized assessments such as IELTS and SAT. The teacher must possess excellent subject knowledge, strong pedagogical skills, and the ability to support learners across varying proficiency levels. As the school is a STEM-focused school, the teacher will integrate academic English skills relevant to scientific reading, report writing, presentations, and technical communication. The role requires collaboration, innovation, and commitment to student development.

Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor s degree in the relevant subject (Master s preferred)
Minimum 3 years of teaching or lab experience
Candidates below 50 years of age
Experience in STEM-focused or innovative learning environments is an advantage

Specialized Skills Ability to teach English as a Second Language; IELTS and SAT prep experience Experience teaching test-prep courses or running writing centers
Teaching Skills Strong classroom management, differentiated instruction, and lesson planning Experience in project-based learning, debate coaching, or blended
ICT Skills Competent with educational software, LMS, digital literacy tools Experience with online exam prep tools or literacy platforms
Soft Skills Effective communication, collaboration, empathy, and organization Leadership, mentoring, or experience with student competitions
Personal Attributes Professional, reliable, student-centered, culturally sensitive Passion for literacy development and global competencies
